Harbor Court Hotel: Historic Elegance Reimagined

Stanton Architecture contributed to the revitalization of San Francisco's iconic Harbor Court Hotel, a historic landmark nestled on the Embarcadero waterfront. Through thoughtful renovations in both 2017 and 2020, the cherished Bay Area hotel was reimagined, enhancing its historic charm while elevating the guest experience.

Stanton’s work focused on transforming the hotel's public spaces, creating a blend of classic elegance and contemporary design. The reception and lounge areas were refreshed with new, timeless interior finishes of warm wood wall paneling, neutral plaster, and mosaic tiling.  The updated palette provides a warm and inviting ambiance for guests to relax and connect.

The guestrooms at Harbor Court Hotel have been meticulously redesigned to provide improved accessibility, efficiency, and modern amenities. Unobstructed views of the Bay Bridge from the guestroom windows remain a highlight of a visit to Harbor Court, bringing the natural character of the Bay inward to the guest experience.
