The newly renovated Courtyard Marriott was previously known as Hotel Maurice, a historic hotel located at 761 Post Street in the Nob Hill district of San Francisco. Stanton Architecture was hired to oversee the renovation and seismic upgrade of this seventeen-story, 58,000 sq. ft. hotel. Our work includes the modernization of the existing 150 rooms, as well as the addition of 16 new rooms. A contemporary bar was added in the lobby, contrasting a modern social space with the existing historic features. The Courtyard Marriott offers a comfortable, high-quality hotel experience convenient to downtown and Union Square.
