Menlo Park, CA
Steps from Caltrain in Menlo Park, Barebottle Brewing is the company's third brick-and-mortar location in the Bay Area, located along Oak Grove Avenue at the Springline development's residences. In a family-friendly spirit, the lively taproom features an open plan, spacious seating areas, pinball machines, and brightly-colored lighting and tile accents. In a nod to the brewing process, interior designer Jon de la Cruz introduced a continuous band of "hops" clay tile that also serves as a backdrop to the dozens of beer taps that serve both sit-in and takeaway customers. The space is marked by its tactile quality, with warm wood fixtures, merchandise cubbies, and a thread of painted wood wainscoting tracing the perimeter. The company's trademark menu board, which rotates daily with colorful signage tiles, is featured prominently from all angles.
