Menlo Park, CA

Prominently anchored at the Springline mixed-use development in Menlo Park, Andytown Coffee Roasters is the San Francisco-based company's fourth location.  The customer procession tracks below a radial, red oak baffle ceiling.  The coffee bar follows form, clad in maple tambour and topped with a terrazzo solid surface counter.  Inspired by the inverted form of a snowy plover nest, and mimicking the building's arched storefront, a series of niches bookends the space, and arched tile provides a backdrop to the pastry display and points-of-sale.  An original coastal mural by Orlie Kapitulnik further grounds the space along the Bay Area peninsula.
