This project adds a new vertical addition to an existing historic resource building in the South of Market district of San Francisco, a stone’s throw from the Oracle Park baseball stadium, home of the San Francisco Giants. The new addition will create an office building with ground floor retail. A new five-level office building will also be constructed on the existing surface parking on the north side of the property. Since the existing building is a historic resource, the proposed design incorporates the street facing facades of the existing structures.
